Junior Systems Engineer

About the role

As a Junior Systems Engineer you will ensure high availability and stability of ATCOM’s headquarters infrastructure. You will perform root‑cause fixes, proactive maintenance, and Level 1 support for internal users while working in a secure, highly‑available environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows, Linux and network services.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades on Dell servers and user workstations.
• Investigate error messages, reinstall programs or replace corrupted files.
• Respond to internal service requests, provide user support and liaise with vendors for advanced issues.
• Monitor environment health, report status to the IT Manager and Cloud Services Director.

Required profile

• Degree in ICT or related field (post‑graduate degree a plus).
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with server systems, basic networking and Dell hardware.
• Excellent communication in Greek and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and act both independently and as a team player.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2‑2022).
• MS SQL Server (2016‑2019).
• Basic Linux administration (Ubuntu, Debian).
• Microsoft Azure Cloud and Office 365.
• VMware private cloud environments.
• Dell server hardware and fundamental networking concepts.
