Junior Finance Controller (M/F/X)

About the role

Helion Helicopters is seeking a Junior Finance Controller to join its finance team in Athens. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will support the month‑end close, cash‑flow management and budgeting while collaborating with internal stakeholders and an external accounting provider.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and monitor the monthly financial closing process, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Greek GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Track and analyse OPEX and CAPEX, investigating budget variances.
• Maintain cash‑flow forecasts and contribute to liquidity planning.
• Produce management reports, financial analyses and key performance indicators.
• Support the annual budgeting cycle and periodic forecasting.
• Help improve financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Fluent in Greek and English; French is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS.
