Experienced Internal Controls & Internal Audit Professional

About the role

EY Greece is looking for an experienced professional to join its Enterprise Risk team. The role focuses on internal audit, internal controls and risk management for leading organisations in Greece and abroad, leveraging technology‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑impact engagements, supporting clients in strengthening governance and control environments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while advancing expertise in internal audit, risk management, compliance and process transformation.
• Utilise GRC platforms and emerging AI tools to enhance control environments, drive efficiency and navigate complex digital risk landscapes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or Engineering) and a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in internal audit, internal controls or risk management, with solid knowledge of IIA standards and COSO framework.
• Strong communication skills in English and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Required skills

• Data‑analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL or Python.
• Experience with GRC platforms and technology‑enabled audit approaches.
