About the role

Colgate‑Palmolive is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its Finance team in Athens. You will support the Tax & Accounting Manager and work on data‑driven accounting processes that ensure compliance and accuracy across the Greek operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the reconciliation process for MyData uploads.
  • Assist in automating data‑extraction processes for MyData to improve efficiency.
  • Communicate with vendors and customers to clarify and resolve MyData discrepancies.
  • Prepare ad‑hoc reports for the Greek Statistics Agency (ELSTAT).
  • Support tax and general‑ledger reconciliations to maintain compliance.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Accounting.
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Highly organized with strong communication and planning abilities.
  • Ability to work in an international, matrixed environment.

Required skills

  • Google Suite
  • SAP (plus, not mandatory)
