IT Infrastructure Domain Architect

About the role

Eurobank is seeking an IT Infrastructure Domain Architect to join its Group IT Operations team. You will design and deliver infrastructure solutions for banking services across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring security, availability, performance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver infrastructure solutions for new and existing applications, covering availability, performance, security, disaster recovery and operational requirements.
• Translate technical and non‑functional requirements into clear architecture diagrams and high‑level specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, security, networking, virtualization, database and middleware experts to align solutions with enterprise standards.
• Support projects from architecture through implementation, identifying dependencies, risks and escalating design issues when needed.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives, working with the IaC team to standardise and automate deployments, especially using Ansible.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration or infrastructure design within a large‑scale IT environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
