Investments & Project Finance Senior Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investments & Project Finance Senior Specialist to drive the evaluation, structuring and execution of investment opportunities across our infrastructure business units. The role will support M&A transactions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and greenfield developments while ensuring robust financial analysis and coordination with external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, structuring and execution of investments, including M&A, joint ventures and greenfield projects.
• Support project and structured finance activities: capital‑structure analysis, debt/equity financing, financial modelling and liaison with banks, investors and advisors.
• Develop and update the Group’s business plan, consolidating inputs from subsidiaries and SPVs.
• Monitor performance against the business plan and defined KPIs.
• Conduct strategic capital‑allocation analysis aligned with corporate objectives, return thresholds and risk appetite.
• Prepare and present financial models, feasibility studies and investment memoranda.
• Coordinate with legal, tax, treasury and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution and post‑investment monitoring.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or related field; master’s degree or professional qualification (ACCA, ACA) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, M&A or business planning, preferably in investment banking, consulting, infrastructure funds or similar.
• Strong financial modelling skills (three‑statement, project‑finance cash‑flow, DCF, IRR, NPV, DSCR, payback).
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Greek GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
