About the role
We are seeking an International Markets Sales & Derivatives Trader to join the International Markets Desk within Eurobank Equities. You will serve private and institutional clients across international stock and derivatives markets, combining order execution, market communication and relationship development. The role involves monitoring markets, executing client orders and building a valuable client portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor international markets, client positions and market‑moving events; explain dynamics, fundamental metrics and house views.
- Execute client orders in stocks and derivatives accurately and promptly using Eurobank’s trading systems.
- Onboard, develop and retain client relationships, identify new business opportunities and work toward sales and budget targets.
- Deliver clear client communication, explain research picks, demonstrate EurobankTrader.gr and handle demanding conversations professionally.
- Manage daily desk administration, process corporate actions, coordinate cash transfers, handle margin calls and send timely alerts.
- Address platform requests and client complaints, liaising with internal teams to provide coordinated support.
- Collaborate with research, operations and other desks to share market information and ensure compliance.
Required profile
- 1–5 years of client‑facing experience, preferably in a stock brokerage or buy‑side investment environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Investment or related field; postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Relevant Hellenic Capital Market Commission certifications for stock trading and derivatives, or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong passion for international markets, solid understanding of market dynamics and fundamental metrics.
- Proven sales instincts, resilience under pressure and a record of high‑quality client service.
- Excellent communication skills, personable and able to handle challenging conversations.
- Tech‑savvy with hands‑on experience of Bloomberg and digital trading tools; fluency in English required.
- Cooperative team attitude, high ethical standards and commitment to compliance; availability for rotating eight‑hour shifts.
