Head of Customer Marketing

About the role

The Head of Customer Marketing will translate Diageo’s brand and commercial strategy into compelling customer, channel and shopper activation plans that drive sustainable growth in Greece. Reporting to the Country Director, the role works closely with sales, marketing and finance teams to ensure brand strategies become winning propositions for retailers, wholesalers, e‑commerce platforms and on‑trade outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Convert brand strategies into commercially relevant activation platforms and customer propositions.
• Partner with Sales/Key Account teams to develop insight‑led proposals and support major customer presentations.
• Define execution standards across channels, manage assortment, visibility, promotions and POS materials, and close execution gaps with field teams.
• Lead the customer‑marketing contribution to the annual commercial planning cycle and manage the A&P budget.
• Coach a team of four, building the best customer‑marketing capability in the market.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in customer marketing and commercial roles within FMCG.
• Strong strategic thinking, shopper and category insight, financial literacy and ability to influence in a matrix organisation.
• Proven project‑management skills, comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent communication in English and Greek, with international experience across multiple markets.
