Head Housekeeper – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Fouquet's Mykonos, the Barrière Group’s first Greek resort, is looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead its housekeeping team. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and aesthetic perfection across 61 suites, three private villas and all public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure flawless cleanliness and presentation of rooms, villas and public spaces in line with Barrière luxury standards.
• Guarantee compliance with Greek health, safety and sanitisation regulations.
• Conduct daily inspections of departing, arriving and occupied rooms as well as back‑of‑house areas.
• Oversee linen, uniform, amenity and cleaning‑supply inventory and storage.
• Recruit, train, schedule and appraise housekeeping and laundry staff, fostering career development.
• Coordinate room assignments and turn‑around times with Front Office and Guest Relations.
• Liaise with Maintenance to report and follow up on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Manage stock levels and purchasing in accordance with Group policies.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented leader with the ability to manage demanding peak‑season situations.
• Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and local health/hygiene regulations.
• Proven experience in a senior housekeeping role within a high‑end hotel or resort.

Required skills

• Experience with luxury hotel housekeeping operations.
• Familiarity with Greek health and safety regulations.
