Government Relations Account Manager

About the role

Effectus, a government relations and strategic communications consultancy, is looking for an experienced Government Relations Account Manager to lead client accounts and support the design of public affairs campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of services.
• Produce policy monitoring reports and develop stakeholder‑mapping matrices.
• Contribute to the design and execution of comprehensive public affairs and awareness campaigns.
• Draft new‑business proposals and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of agency and/or combined agency and in‑house experience in government relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, media studies or human sciences.
• Excellent writing ability in both Greek and English.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office and social‑media tools.
• Creative, policy‑oriented mindset with a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
• Strong client‑relationship building skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
