German-Speaking Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Officer to support international growth and strengthen our market presence across multiple countries. The role focuses on business expansion, relationship management, and execution of growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Set and support departmental KPIs in line with corporate targets and develop action plans to achieve them.
• Support market penetration and expansion strategies across existing and new countries of operation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships, including regular meetings and ongoing engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of tailored strategies per market.
• Promote company products and services while maintaining strong knowledge of competitor offerings.
• Participate in events, seminars, and promotional activities across different countries.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and market analyses to support decision‑making.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members to ensure high performance.

Required profile

• BSc in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, client/partner relations or a similar role.
• Fluent or native German; English proficiency is mandatory.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to cope under pressure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and leadership abilities.
