Front-End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Front‑End Developer to join EY’s Technology Consulting practice in Greece. You will work in multidisciplinary teams delivering IT strategy, architecture and software development services to financial and corporate clients, while contributing to internal projects and supervising junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern front‑end technologies.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back‑end engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Participate in the design of IT solutions, including strategy, architecture and implementation support.
• Ensure high‑quality deliverables and adherence to EY’s quality standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members on technical tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT/Systems or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, JSON, XML.
• Front‑end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
• JavaScript libraries/frameworks: AngularJS, Ember, Backbone, ReactJS.
• CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
• Responsive and mobile‑first design techniques.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and version control systems (e.g., Git).
