Financial Controller – Remote

About the role

Omilia is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of its global financial records. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the close and consolidation process across multiple entities while ensuring full IFRS compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for all entities, including the Cyprus HQ and Greece, delivering accurate IFRS consolidation.
• Own the revenue recognition policy under IFRS 15 for complex SaaS and professional services contracts.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors.
• Manage a distributed accounting team responsible for accounts payable, expenses, payroll and NetSuite administration.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting experience with 2–3 years in a Controller or equivalent leadership role within a growth‑stage enterprise software environment.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with deep IFRS expertise, especially multi‑currency consolidation and IFRS 15.
• Proven ability to lead remote, distributed teams across European time zones.
