Financial Controller (Remote)

About the role

Omilia is a global leader in conversational AI seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of its global financial records. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the close and consolidation process across multiple entities while ensuring IFRS compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for all entities, including Cyprus HQ and Greece, and ensure accurate IFRS consolidation.
• Own revenue recognition policy under IFRS 15 for complex SaaS and professional services contracts.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors.
• Manage a distributed accounting team responsible for AP, expenses, payroll and NetSuite administration.
• Drive financial automation and control initiatives as the company scales.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a Controller or equivalent leadership role within a growth‑stage enterprise software environment.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with deep IFRS expertise, especially multi‑currency consolidation and IFRS 15.
• Proven experience managing remote, distributed teams across European time zones.
