Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance General Division in Sindos, Thessaloniki. In this role you will strengthen financial insight and enable data‑driven decisions that support performance and strategic growth across METLEN’s Metallurgy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in financial monitoring and analysis of the Metallurgy sector.
• Develop financial forecasts and models to project future P&L and cash‑flow performance.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and produce variance reports.
• Conduct gap and sensitivity analyses.
• Contribute to the Metallurgy Committee’s monthly presentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering (Master’s in Business Administration or Finance required if the bachelor’s is in engineering).
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy/metals sector or an audit firm serving that sector.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
• ERP systems knowledge, preferably SAP.
