Finance Operations Associate

About the role

Moving Doors is looking for a Finance Operations Associate to support day‑to‑day financial activities across its portfolio of fully furnished apartments. This hands‑on position ensures payments are processed accurately, credit control is maintained, and financial records stay fully reconciled while continuously seeking automation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process operational payments via multiple methods, adhering to payment terms and company policies.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts before payment execution.
• Support credit control by following up on receivables and reducing overdue accounts.
• Automate routine finance tasks using AI and other tools to minimise manual errors.
• Identify repetitive processes, propose improvements, and implement streamlined workflows.
• Document and monitor daily transactions to keep financial records up to date.
• Review daily expenses for accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Maintain an organised filing system for accounts, statements, transactions and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Some experience with payment processing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation or credit control (internships acceptable).
• Strong interest in automation and AI, with a proven ability to use tools for repetitive tasks.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to spot and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Methodical, process‑driven approach to record‑keeping and reconciliation.

Required skills

• Excel (spreadsheets and formulas).
