Experienced Auditor

About the role

UHY Axon Group is seeking an Experienced Auditor to join its audit practice. You will work alongside seasoned mentors, own the audit lifecycle, and build strong client relationships while developing your professional expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day fieldwork and manage external audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Evaluate internal controls, assess risks, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, understand business needs, and deliver responsive service.
• Review financial data, draft detailed audit reports, and present practical recommendations.
• Maintain accurate, fully documented working papers and collaborate across service lines to improve audit processes.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of solid audit experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, Risk Management, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, JES, SOEL) completed or in progress.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with modern audit tools.
