Executive Sous Chef – Luxury Hotel (Season 2027)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead the culinary operations at MarBella, a five‑star luxury hotel in Corfu, for the 2027 season. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will ensure consistent quality, creativity and operational excellence across all kitchen outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen activities, coordinate staffing and workflow for multiple restaurant and production areas.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste and presentation while adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support menu development, seasonal concepts and recipe standardisation in partnership with the Executive Chef.
• Mentor and develop Sous Chefs, Head Chefs, Chefs de Partie and other culinary team members.
• Manage food cost, inventory, portion control and waste reduction initiatives.
• Step in for the Executive Chef when required to ensure seamless operation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior kitchen leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong culinary creativity combined with a commitment to consistency and quality.
• Excellent communication and team‑building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing service demands.
