Electrical & Electronic Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Elval, the aluminium rolling division of ElvalHalcor S.A., is seeking an Electrical & Automation Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of its production lines and support continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Solve electrical, electronic and automation issues that cause production delays.
• Provide software and hardware troubleshooting for existing PLC control systems.
• Develop and customize new PLC logic and control systems.
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment.
• Monitor maintenance costs and manage supplies inventory.
• Create documentation and instructions for equipment use and maintenance.
• Participate in the installation of new machinery and improve health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (5‑year program); a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Very good command of English.
• Good IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office and basic computer networking.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
