DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join EPiC in Athens. The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines and ensuring high‑availability services that enhance our customers’ experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and configure new development tools and infrastructure.
• Automate and improve development and release processes.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure processes are followed and work as intended.
• Deploy product updates, fixes and monitor cloud infrastructure 24/7/365.
• Develop scripts and dashboards for visualization and monitoring.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting, maintenance and automation.
• Plan scaling mechanisms to maintain high performance.
• Participate in security and compliance reviews.
• Report periodically on DevOps and infrastructure progress.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Problem‑solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment (Athens office and remote).

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline development using VSTS and Git.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Version control and Git workflows.
• SQL and general database knowledge.
• Cloud/virtualisation platforms: OpenStack, AWS, Azure, VMware.
• Azure services: Storage Accounts, Virtual Network, Service Bus, Application Gateway, WAF, Service Fabric, Load Balancer, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Active Directory, App Services, VM Scale Set.
• Management of Linux container image repositories.
• Deployment of OpenShift Container Platform.
