DevOps Cloud Engineer – AWS & IBM Cloud

About the role

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer you will design, implement and optimise cloud infrastructure for complex enterprise environments. You will collaborate with development, architecture and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure and highly‑available solutions across AWS and IBM Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and IBM Cloud.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Deploy, manage and scale containerised workloads using Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment automation and operational efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
• Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with organisational standards.
• Support platform modernisation, cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures and operational guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and the adoption of DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• AWS Certification (Associate level or higher) is mandatory.
• Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKAD or equivalent) is a strong asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
