Demi Chef – Japanese Robatayaki Restaurant

About the role

As a Demi Chef at Roka Santorini you will support the kitchen team in delivering high‑volume, contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine. You will work in a dynamic environment, learning across all sections while contributing to seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, focusing on food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Develop skills across all kitchen sections under senior chefs’ guidance.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality, accuracy, proper storage and waste minimisation.
• Conduct daily checks of storage areas, uphold high hygiene standards.
• Prepare food according to recipes with precision, overseeing junior team members.
• Keep workstations clean and organized, complying with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.

Required profile

• Passion for culinary experiences and Japanese cuisine.
• Proven experience as a demi chef in a luxury high‑volume restaurant.
• Friendly, customer‑oriented attitude and ability to create memorable dining experiences.
