Demand Planner

About the role

The Demand Planner will join MEIDANIS’s Supply Chain team, supporting the development and implementation of demand and supply planning processes across 35 stores and the central warehouse in Aspropyrgos. This newly created position focuses on monitoring demand, sales, inventory and replenishment to ensure smooth product flow.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor demand, sales and inventory levels, identifying deviations and potential availability issues.
• Manage the forecasting process, including new product introductions and phase‑out items.
• Own the implementation and use of a new Demand & Supply Planning solution.
• Analyse forecast accuracy and investigate root causes of variances.
• Determine replenishment requirements and develop order plans.
• Collaborate with Logistics to adjust plans based on delivery ETA deviations.
• Evaluate inventory levels, slow‑moving stock and stock‑out risks.
• Collect, process and analyse data from ERP and WMS systems.
• Develop reports and KPIs to assess Supply Chain performance.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Product Managers and other functions to align business needs.

Required profile

• BSc in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning or Demand Planning.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and strong data‑analysis abilities.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
• Experience with forecasting or replenishment software is a strong advantage.
• Good command of English and strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across functions.
