Data Engineer

About the role

Join Satori Analytics as a Data Engineer and help build scalable data platforms that power marketing products for a global payments and financial services leader. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver clean, analytics‑ready data for reporting, AI/ML, and customer insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, PySpark and cloud tools.
• Work with MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka and Hadoop ecosystem components.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, lineage and governance processes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data science and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimise production pipelines, ensuring smooth data flow.
• Use Git and Agile practices for version control and iterative development.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience building scalable data platforms and distributed processing solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT design patterns and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Understanding of data governance, security, privacy and regulatory compliance.
