Content Moderator - Bilingual Western Balkan/English

About the role

TaskUs, a provider of outsourced digital services and customer experience to technology companies, is hiring a Content Moderator in Thessaloniki. The role ensures that online content across social media apps is high quality, appropriate and safe, applying a content policy to digital content and handling reports of abuse consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Review content such as videos, news stories, still images, political ads and social media profiles on a computer each day.
• Score content on age-appropriateness, level of violence, sexual content and political transparency.
• Enforce the client's terms of use and monitor abuse reports.
• Escalate changes affecting performance or KPIs through the proper channels.
• Follow security measures, confidentiality and other project requirements.
• Take part in wellness activities, counseling sessions, training and reporting initiatives.

Required profile

• At least one year of prior operations experience in shared services or a customer experience environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English and Western Balkan, able to read and speak the language.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and empathy.
• Affinity and cultural awareness of political and social situations in the relevant market and region.
