Content Moderator - Bilingual Norwegian/English

About the role

TaskUs, a provider of outsourced digital services and customer experience to technology companies, is hiring a bilingual Norwegian/English Content Moderator in Thessaloniki. The role keeps online experiences engaging, appropriate and safe by applying a content policy to digital content and handling reports of abuse consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Review content such as videos, news stories, still images, political ads and social media profiles on a computer each day.
• Score content on age-appropriateness, level of violence, sexual content and political transparency.
• Enforce the client's terms of use and monitor abuse reports, escalating changes that affect performance or KPIs through the proper channels.
• Follow security measures, confidentiality and other project requirements.
• Take part in employee assistance programs, reporting initiatives and training, and daily wellness activities such as fitness challenges, team-building exercises and on-site programs.

Required profile

• At least one year of prior operations experience in shared services or a customer experience environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English and Norwegian, able to read and speak both languages.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and empathy.
• Affinity and cultural awareness of political and social situations in the relevant market and region.
