Consumer Insights Data Specialist

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Consumer & Marketplace Insights team as a Data Specialist, transforming consumer, market and operational data into actionable intelligence. You will bridge business needs with advanced analytics and AI‑enabled solutions to support growth across categories, brands and functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, CDT, Marketing and other stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Monitor macro‑economic trends, consumer behavior, category performance and innovation effectiveness to identify opportunities and risks.
• Integrate diverse data sources—including consumer research, syndicated market data, retail audits, CRM, e‑commerce and internal sales data—to create a holistic performance view.
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards, KPI scorecards and self‑service reporting using Power BI and other visualization tools.
• Champion AI adoption by building generative‑AI‑enabled workflows, templates and automation to accelerate analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 3–4 years of experience in consumer insights analytics, business intelligence, market research or FMCG analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Advanced Excel for large‑scale data manipulation.
• SQL for data extraction.
• Python for automation and analytical workflows.
• Experience with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
