Clinical Research Associate II (Sponsor Dedicated) - Athens

About the role

Syneos Health is hiring a Clinical Research Associate II (Sponsor Dedicated) in Athens. The role covers on-site and remote monitoring of clinical research studies to ensure compliance with accepted clinical practices, and works closely with investigators, site staff and other stakeholders to support clinical trial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clinical research studies on site and remotely, reviewing study protocols, informed consent forms and case report forms
• Develop and implement quality monitoring tools, procedures and processes, such as monitoring plans, checklists and templates
• Help design, implement and deliver processes, programs and policies, including SOPs and training materials
• Manage project components within the area of responsibility, such as coordinating site visits, tracking study progress and resolving issues
• Document monitoring activities accurately and on time, including monitoring reports, follow-up letters and action plans
• Work with cross-functional teams, investigators and site staff to ensure smooth study conduct

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• At least 2-4 years of experience in clinical research monitoring
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Preferred: Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) or equivalent certification
