CEO - Retail Industry

About the role

A client is looking for an accomplished CEO to lead the company through its next stage of growth. The CEO sets the strategic direction, drives sustained business development and builds a more efficient and resilient organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Set the company's vision and strategy and drive it to the next level of growth.
• Lead business development: find new markets, partners and revenue opportunities.
• Improve efficiency across the company, reducing waste and cost.
• Lead and support the management team and build a strong company culture.
• Manage budgets, performance and financial results.
• Report regularly to the board or owners.
• Represent the company with key clients, partners and the public.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or general management role.
• Proven track record of growing a business and delivering results in business development.
• Experience improving efficiency and managing costs.
• Fluency in English; Greek is an advantage.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills at all levels, including with boards and investors.
