About the role
The International Organization for Migration is looking for a Caregiver to support unaccompanied migrant children living in its shelter in Athens. Working under the shelter coordinator, the caregiver will ensure a safe, caring environment and assist with daily operations and service provision.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the shelter, following instructions from the shelter coordinator.
- Provide routine care and support to unaccompanied migrant children, including basic needs, hygiene, and psychosocial assistance.
Required profile
- High school diploma (or equivalent) obtained in Greece or abroad.
- Experience or training in child protection, care of unaccompanied minors, or refugee assistance.
- Willingness to work day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use standard IT equipment.
