About the role

The International Organization for Migration is looking for a Caregiver to support unaccompanied migrant children living in its shelter in Athens. Working under the shelter coordinator, the caregiver will ensure a safe, caring environment and assist with daily operations and service provision.

Key responsibilities

Assist in the daily operations of the shelter, following instructions from the shelter coordinator.
Provide routine care and support to unaccompanied migrant children, including basic needs, hygiene, and psychosocial assistance.

Required profile

High school diploma (or equivalent) obtained in Greece or abroad.
Experience or training in child protection, care of unaccompanied minors, or refugee assistance.
Willingness to work day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic computer literacy and ability to use standard IT equipment.
