About the role

The Modernist is seeking a Cafe Attendant to join its contemporary hospitality team in Thessaloniki. You will serve café guests and hotel visitors, delivering personalized experiences through meaningful interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Be part of the Modernist Café team, taking orders, preparing beverages and serving food items.
• Keep delivery apps updated and prepare orders within the required time frame.
• Prepare beverages, clean and set up the service area to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while solving challenges.
• Interact with guests in a professional yet unpretentious manner to ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Support colleagues and collaborate with the hotel team to keep overall operations running smoothly.
• Follow health, safety, fire and security procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Customer‑oriented, self‑motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure, good time‑management and teamwork spirit.
• Relevant experience in a similar café or hospitality role.
• Competent F&B skills such as service, barista work or bartending.
• Fluent use of the English language.
