Business Development Executive

About the role

Intellectica is recruiting a Business Development Executive on behalf of a fast‑growing consulting firm based in Piraeus. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as the trusted right‑hand, driving client acquisition and expanding the firm’s commercial footprint across Greece.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and develop new business opportunities throughout Greece to grow the client portfolio.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using outreach, networking, referrals and market mapping.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to understand client needs and showcase the firm’s service offering.
• Collaborate with the CEO on commercial strategy and act as a key partner in sales growth.
• Develop long‑term relationships with prospects and clients, ensuring high trust and professionalism.
• Prepare proposals, commercial offers and tailored follow‑up communications.
• Represent the company at meetings, networking events and business development activities across various Greek regions.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions and pipeline progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field (optional if strong experience).
• 3‑7 years of experience in sales, business development or a similar B2B commercial role.
• Previous experience in services, consulting, financial services or accounting is a plus.
• Proven track record of new client acquisition in the Greek market.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Greece.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
