Business Development Director – Construction

About the role

The Business Development Director will lead the growth strategy for a leading Greek construction firm, focusing on private projects. You will create new opportunities, build long‑term relationships with key market players, and position the company as a trusted partner from the earliest project stages.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Business Development strategy for private construction projects across Greece.
• Identify and evaluate new investment and construction opportunities before formal tendering.
• Establish and nurture relationships with architects, engineers, project managers, cost consultants and other stakeholders.
• Represent the company at senior‑level meetings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with technical and management teams to craft tailored proposals and strategic approaches.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and track progress from identification to award.
• Provide market intelligence on upcoming investments and sector trends.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Greek private construction, real‑estate development, engineering or a comparable environment.
• Proven track record of generating new business and securing large‑scale, technically complex projects.
