Automation & Electrical Design Team Lead – Production

About the role

Semitron is seeking an experienced Automation & Electrical Design Team Lead to head the production automation team in Thessaloniki. You will own the complete electrical design lifecycle for elevator panels, from EPLAN schematics to final testing and debugging.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign and prioritize daily workload for the team, monitor progress and remove blockers.
• Own and approve EPLAN electrical diagrams, ensuring revision control, standardisation and accurate BOMs.
• Oversee construction, wiring, testing and troubleshooting of elevator control panels, providing hands‑on support when required.
• Define, monitor and improve process KPIs; ensure daily inspections meet quality and safety standards.
• Participate in production planning and capacity forecasting with the Production Manager.
• Coach, train and evaluate team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Maintain technical documentation, work instructions and design libraries.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automation or electrical design, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating a technical team.
• Strong command of English and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Hands‑on expertise with low‑voltage control panel construction, wiring and testing.
