Associate Key Account Manager – Export

About the role

As an Associate Key Account Manager – Export you will lead the commercial strategy for Mattel’s iconic brands across the Export markets of Ukraine and Moldova. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager Export, you will act as a strategic partner to distributors and key customers, driving sustainable revenue growth and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt the overall Export commercial strategy to local market dynamics, customer needs and emerging opportunities.
• Define customer prioritisation, product assortment, distributor strategy, pricing and route‑to‑market models in partnership with local distributors.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals and commercial agreements to secure long‑term partnerships.
• Identify and develop new customers and expand distribution networks.
• Provide market intelligence, strategic insights and recommendations to support regional business planning.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to develop and execute joint business plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or key account management within consumer goods or toys.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and profitability.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Fluency in English; additional language skills for the target markets are a plus.
• Solid understanding of export sales processes and distributor management.
• Analytical mindset for market assessment and business planning.
