Application Specialist – East Europe

About the role

The Application Specialist will deliver hands‑on training and application support for Elekta’s radiotherapy treatment and treatment‑planning systems across East Europe. Working directly with clinical users, the specialist ensures safe, efficient and personalized use of Elekta hardware and software, driving adoption and satisfaction throughout implementation, go‑live and ongoing optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote training on Elekta hardware, software and treatment‑planning solutions, tailoring sessions to customer needs.
• Manage customer evaluations, monitor learner performance and gather feedback to improve training effectiveness.
• Handle customer requests promptly, maintaining long‑term relationships and contributing to higher Net Promoter Scores and Customer Satisfaction.
• Support customers during implementation, go‑live and workflow optimisation, acting as a trusted clinical partner.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, R&D and international teams; represent Elekta at exhibitions, conferences and seminars.
• Capture and communicate customer insights to Product Management and Project Management to influence product enhancements.

Required profile

• Clinical or technical background in radiation oncology or medical devices.
• Proven experience delivering training and support to healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to travel regularly across East European sites.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with customers.
