Android Engineer (Kotlin & Jetpack Compose)

About the role

Plum is looking for a user‑focused Android Engineer to help build and evolve its Android app from the ground up. You will work in a cross‑functional squad to deliver a seamless, design‑driven experience that lets users manage their money on the go.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the Plum Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and iterate rapidly in short development cycles.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers within a squad.
• Integrate remote data services via REST and JSON, and ensure robust architecture using Android architecture components.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement of the mobile engineering process.
