AI Enablement Lead

About the role

Uni Systems is looking for an AI Enablement Lead to embed AI tools into the delivery of large‑scale, mission‑critical IT projects for European institutions. Based in Athens and working in a hybrid model, you will operate within a client engagement team while also driving AI enablement across the Engineering Department.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a senior member of the engagement team, contributing hands‑on across relevant SDLC phases.
• Apply AI tooling such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude and OpenAI to real delivery work, creating repeatable, production‑ready workflows, reusable prompts and SDLC‑aligned templates.
• Document successes and limitations to facilitate transfer to other engagements.
• Collaborate with client, security and legal functions to define what data may be processed by hosted AI services, and design compliant workflows using the in‑house private AI environment.
• Ensure AI outputs are treated as inputs to engineering judgement, keeping humans accountable for final decisions.
• Lead enablement activities across the Engineering Department: capture best practices, develop templates and enablement materials, advise on tooling, spend and learning paths.
• Influence adoption through practice managers and practitioners, without formal authority.
• Occasionally travel to client sites and EU institutional events.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience using AI tools in software delivery.
• Credibility with engineers and clients, able to influence teams.
• Comfort working in regulated environments with strict data‑protection and IP constraints.
• Willingness to grow the AI enablement practice and share knowledge.
