Accounting Assistant

About the role

Ferryhopper is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join its Finance team. You will help ensure the accuracy of daily accounting operations, support invoicing, and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Perform bookkeeping entries and operate the ERP system.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing tasks.
• Contribute to various accounting projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One or similar.
• Fluency in English and a reliable, organized work ethic.
