Accounting Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations at our Elefsina office. You will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data while collaborating with a dynamic logistics team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support monthly closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Handle internal and external communications related to billing and payments.
• Maintain organized filing systems and accounting databases.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Team as required.

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience in an accounting or finance‑related role.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Basic accounting principles (accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting).
