Accounting and Tax Supervisor

About the role

Avon is seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Supervisor to join its EMEA Centre of Excellence. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across commercial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly financial reports to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Manage statutory financial statements, local regulatory filings, and audit coordination.
• Oversee IFRS to statutory adjustments and related control processes.
• Support quarterly certification, financial analysis, and statutory forecasting activities.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations and strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance directors, general managers, auditors, tax specialists, and shared‑service teams.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements and reporting enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven finance or accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus a professional accounting qualification.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural, collaborative setting.
• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and passion for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting processes.
