SPOC Coordinator – Shipping Services

About the role

We are looking for a SPOC Coordinator to manage daily single‑point‑of‑contact tasks, ensuring a responsive, customer‑focused service for itinerary bookings, operations requests and disbursement accounting. The position is permanent, full‑time and hybrid, based in Piraeus, Greece.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and acknowledge worldwide itineraries from principals, check berth availability, and arrange bookings or alternatives.
• Process requests for forthcoming calls, coordinating all necessary arrangements.
• Liaise with the ISS network to provide accurate data for pro‑formas and ensure principal interests and profitability.
• Secure prefunding arrangements according to agreements.
• Monitor daily operational correspondence, enforce ISS standards and take corrective action when required.
• Validate final invoices, investigate discrepancies, upload to internal platforms and issue FDAs for principals.
• Secure and monitor final settlements while working within ISS KPIs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of the shipping/marine industry.
• Degree‑level education.
• Strong communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
• Strong numeracy and analytical abilities.
• Excellent planning and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication across all organisational levels.
• Proficient computer knowledge with experience in MS Office.
