Husbandry Global Agent

About the role

Join Wilhelmsen Port Services’ global team as a Husbandry Global Agent, where you will help deliver seamless cargo, vessel, and crew handling for thousands of port calls each year. The role combines local expertise with strict global standards to ensure efficient and safe port operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an existing portfolio by responding to customer requests, providing advice, and sharing best practices to support client port calls.
• Ensure contracts and rates are up‑to‑date and correctly entered into the system.
• Collaborate with operational and administrative resources to meet customer requirements in line with global standards and contract terms.
• Work with WPS local and sub‑agents on port‑call pre‑planning to produce accurate cost estimates and expand service offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a maritime field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum three years of operational experience in the shipping industry.
• Results‑oriented with the ability to set and achieve targets.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Computer literate.
• Strong negotiating, networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• On‑board vessel experience is a plus.
