Social Media Manager

About the role

DPG Digital Media is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the social media presence of its digital publishing brands in Greece. The role combines creativity, data‑driven decision‑making and close collaboration with editorial, video and audience development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Manage the daily publishing calendar in partnership with editorial, video and audience teams.
• Adapt editorial content into platform‑native formats such as reels, stories, shorts and carousels.
• Identify trends, platform opportunities and audience signals to generate relevant content ideas.
• Monitor performance, produce regular reports with insights and recommendations.
• Track competitors, creators and market trends to uncover new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media management, preferably within media, publishing, entertainment, lifestyle, sports or news.
• Strong understanding of major platforms, their algorithms and audience behaviours.
• Ability to transform editorial stories into engaging social‑first content.
• Experience with analytics, reporting and performance optimisation.
