Senior Product Manager, Logs - Observability

About the role

Elastic is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the logs and logs‑analytics capabilities within its Observability product suite. You will shape the end‑to‑end experience for customers monitoring applications and infrastructure, ensuring the product aligns with Elastic’s overall strategy and delivers a modern, full‑stack observability solution.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve logs analytics capabilities in line with company strategy.
• Drive the full lifecycle of logs collection, ingest, and management.
• Build features for modern SREs, including GenAI integration, automated SLO/SLI tracking, intelligent alerting, and correlation of logs, metrics, and traces.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Design and other cross‑functional teams to deliver top‑notch monitoring experiences.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on go‑to‑market strategy, messaging, competitive analysis and feature adoption.
• Monitor user engagement and feedback to guide product evolution.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management or a closely related role.
• Technical experience in logs analytics and a solid understanding of the observability domain.
• Ability to translate abstract problems into concrete, prioritized solutions, working backwards from the customer.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Passion for industry trends and the competitive landscape.
• Experience in remote, globally distributed teams is optional but desired.
• Knowledge of AI is optional but desired.
