Senior Formulation Scientist

About the role

Win Medica Pharmaceutical SA is looking for a motivated Senior Formulation Scientist to join its High Potent facility in Tripoli, Greece. You will lead the development and optimisation of oral solid dosage forms, guiding projects from early formulation through scale‑up and technology transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise formulations for tablets, capsules and granules.
• Plan and execute formulation development activities.
• Support scale‑up and technology transfer to production.
• Apply Quality by Design (QbD) principles and Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Prepare development protocols, reports and technical documentation.
• Contribute to CTD Module 3 documentation.
• Evaluate and interpret development results and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Analytical Development, Quality and Production teams.
• Mentor junior scientists and laboratory personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field (Master’s/PhD considered).
• Minimum three years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
• Hands‑on experience with oral solid dosage forms and related manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of cGMP and CTD requirements.
• Experience in scale‑up and technology transfer.
• Experience with high‑potent, oncology or cytotoxic products is an asset.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
