Senior Clinical Research Associate II (Sponsor Dedicated) - Athens

About the role

Syneos Health is hiring a CRAII / Sr CRAI (sponsor dedicated) in Athens. The role covers on-site and remote monitoring of clinical research studies to ensure compliance with accepted clinical practices, and involves quality monitoring, project coordination and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clinical research studies on site and remotely, reviewing study protocols, informed consent forms and case report forms
• Develop and implement quality monitoring tools, procedures and processes, such as monitoring plans, checklists and templates
• Help design, implement and deliver processes, programs and policies, including SOPs and training materials
• Manage parts of projects or processes, such as coordinating site visits, tracking study progress and resolving issues
• Document monitoring activities accurately and on time, including monitoring reports, follow-up letters and action plans
• Work with investigators, site staff and other stakeholders to support clinical trial operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in clinical research monitoring
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Preferred: Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) or equivalent certification
