School Nurse & Bus Assistant

About the role

Anatolia College is looking for a caring professional to provide first‑aid and basic nursing support to students in its Afterschool Programs, while also assisting with safe student transportation as a Bus Assistant. This part‑time position works four hours daily, primarily from 14:45 to 17:00, with additional hours as needed for elementary school or transport duties.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver immediate nursing care, basic first aid, and health assessments for illnesses or injuries during Afterschool Programs.
• Maintain accurate health incident records in line with school policies and privacy standards.
• Communicate health updates to parents/guardians and school administration.
• Ensure first‑aid supplies and medical equipment are stocked and functional.
• Supervise students on regular and after‑school bus trips, enforcing safety rules.
• Monitor student behavior on the bus, intervene when necessary, and report concerns.
• Follow emergency protocols for transport delays, breakdowns, or incidents, keeping clear communication with drivers and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent) with a valid nursing license in Greece.
• Fluency in written and spoken Greek and English.
• Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, and a professional attitude toward confidentiality.
