Senior Clinical Team Manager – Internal Medicine & Therapeutics

About the role

The Senior Clinical Team Manager (CTM) leads the start‑up and clinical execution of complex therapeutic studies across internal medicine areas such as dermatology, cardiovascular, liver, nephrology, immunology, rare disease and diabetes. Reporting to the Project Manager, the CTM ensures that all clinical deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to the sponsor’s quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all start‑up activities and clinical operations for assigned studies in compliance with ICH GCP.
• Manage regional or country‑specific clinical teams, ensuring proper training, tracking and quality systems are in place.
• Monitor study timelines, budgets and resources, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary clinical contact for the sponsor, providing regular updates and addressing any clinical issues.
• Interpret complex data, support decision‑making and maintain profitability by keeping activities within contract scope.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing clinical trials of moderate to high complexity in internal medicine therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and clinical quality standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
